sick day

i'm sick. i woke up on sunday with a temp of 101. i feel like someone punched me in the throat after i ran 10 miles...lets face it i could never run 10 miles...after i ran 5 miles. point, my whole body hurts, i want to stay in my bed for the next few days.
reality:
get kids up, fed, off to school.
prepare snacks...
do a little laundry
have playdates
give naps
watch dvr'd oscars...yeah i did.
i got through half of private practive when i was kicked off so my oldest could play mario kart...ahhh, the sacrifices i make as a mother.
the highlight of my day, my husband came home for lunch (as he does everyday....i'm totally spoiled) and he said, "wow, you look very put together for someone who's sick"
awww. it made me feel good that he even noticed...let's face it, he doesn't care about clothes like i do.
he probably extra noticed because i didn't get out of my jammies all day yesterday nor did i shower...yikes, i probably looked like i was going to the oscars compared to how i looked yesterday...
anyway...i took a couple pics to show you my sick day clothes:

 

and because this pic is lousy...(you don't need to tell me i know)...i'll get over my fear of someone else taking my picture someday and have my husband start taking the pics...anyway, my shoes they are beautiful. they are made from thai silk...

i don't know what that means but that's what it says, i'm still breaking them.

don't mind my veiny feet...also i took this pic outside because i knew it would give the color of these shoes justice. gorgeous, right?!
normally i wear this outfit with my brown boots and orange headband...so cute, but i'm not going anywhere today.
no accessories...i'm too sick for them.
